Sonnet 1

My heart changed this past season.

I see now what I've had all along.

You are my life's new reason.

At times we are both right and wrong.

We hold hands entwined this summer day.

We go away but send our lust in kisses. 

My love grows with each word I play.

I say more than just modern day wishes.

There is truth in your eyes.

I'm at home when you are with me.

Do not question how or why-

My face still holds a smile when it's you I see.

I might not always have the perfect rhyme-

Love may miss a beat but has its own time.
